A Texas school district is being sued by the parents of a student, J.T., who says faculty at a Junior High School colored in the part in their sons’ hair with a black Sharpie.  They say the part in his hair violates the school dress code.  The student was, allegedly, told that he had to go to the office because he wasn’t adhering to the dress code because of a part cut into his hair.  He was told that he would either be suspended and lose his place on the track team or have his part colored in with a black marker.  He decided not to be suspended.  The suite also alleges that they teacher who colored in his part laughed while doing it.

Of course the parents of J.T. were not happy about this and they are seeking monetary damages.
