A Study conducted by Harris Poll suggests that a majority of Americans would rather spend time with family and friends and less time buying gifts. 43 percent of the people polled says they feel pressured to spend more money than they can afford on gifts. While most people wish they didn’t have to buy gifts they buy them anyway because they don’t believe that people are truly willing to give up receiving gifts.
