If you’ve been watching the news lately, there’s no way you’ve missed the latest updates on the Gulf Coast oil disaster. Today, the company that’s behind it all – or least qualifies as the number one suspect in the issue, might be struggling to save face for a variety reasons.

An update on our news tickers this morning showed us that lawmakers are about to go hard on BP CEO Tony Hayward like never before. Why? Because Mr. Hayward is about to testify in the presence of the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations. (Whew! That was a mouthful, wasn’t it?)

Anyway, the upcoming hearing is actually intended to dig deep in the muck that we’ve been watching so closely in order to figure out what really happened two months ago after the explosion on the Deepwater Horizon rig which caused the oil disaster. Do you think some answers will be given to the questions we’ve all been asking? Who knows really. All we can do is wait, watch and pray.

This new hearing comes just a day after Hayward met with President Barack Obama, who last week said if it were up to him, Hayward would have been fired. Go ahead and say that again, Mr. President!
