Opponents of Governor John Kasich’s plan to expand medicaid in Ohio will take their fight to the state supreme court.
A lawsuit filed yesterday claims the controlling board’s vote this week to fund the expansion violated state law.
Legislators had approved language of this year’s budget, banning any expansion of medicaid, but Kasich vetoed that.
