Anybody who knows TV personality/journalist Gayle King knows she’s the last person you probably would invite to a Hip Hop after party, concert or the club. Not there’s anything wrong, but she just doesn’t seem like a serious club head who’s down to get high off marijuana in that type of setting.
Maybe that’s the reason why she might have been a shoe in for a more unique musical experience when it comes to Hip Hop. Looks like Gayle King found a safer, a more natural high off of the brand new music from Hip Hop royals Jay-Z & Kanye West this week at the album release party for their collaborative effort “The Throne” at the Hayden Planetarium.
Lost in the music and excited about the spaced out feeling the atmosphere created, Gayle King discusses what it was like to “get high” off some Jay-Z & Kanye. As innocent as her commentary might have been, you can’t help but wish you had been there to experience it all, too. Check it out below.
