We keep hearing stories, reports and efforts to suppress voting through Voter ID laws. No w we hear that a judge in Pennsylvania refused to halt a law requiring voters to present indentification when voting. So what’s the problem with that? Consider that the 28 states proposing ID laws haven’t not proven that voter fraud is a real issue; in fact, the numbers for voter fraud are so low it’s not even worth tabulating. Wikipedia states ” a major study by the Justice Department between 2002 and 2007 showed of the 300 million votes cast in that period, federal prosecutors convicted only 86 people for voter fraud – and of those few cases, most involved persons who were simply unaware of their ineligibility.”
The party line “we want to take back America” is troubling when you consider “they” already have America but “they” want to win by any means necessary.
