Tavis Smiley will visit the WDBZ Studio tomorrow to discuss The Tavis Smiley Nationwide Tour.As Cincinnati residents begin to emerge from the Great Recession, they are hungry for financial insight and guidance to help rebuild household balance sheets and to start planning for a brighter financial future.
In response to this need, Nationwide Insurance partnered with author and broadcaster, Tavis Smiley to host a free economic empowerment and financial planning workshop. It will feature a general session with Smiley as the keynote speaker, which starts at 11:30 a.m. Participants can preregister at http://www.nationwide.com/tavistickets. Informational breakouts sessions start at 1 p.m. During the sessions, Nationwide experts will provide other information – including financial basics, exploring careers in insurance, what it takes to become an agent and more.
