Hollywood (TargetMarketNews)–NBC announced that the only TV network prime time drama led by an African-American cast has been cancelled. “Undercovers,” which stars Boris Kodjoe and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, will be dropped from the Wednesday night schedule after December 1. The three remaining episodes which have already been shot will be shown at a time to be announced.
For the first week of November, CBS continued its renewed dominance over the Top 25 most popular shows in black households. It had 12.8 million viewers for ten of its programs on the chart. NBC had a strong second place with 10.2 million watching six of its shows. ABC was third with 9.0 million watchers for six of its chart makers.
