A story linking publicist Rachel Uchitel (right) to golf great Tiger Woods appeared in the National Enquirer last week, but did not gain serious national attention until Woods ran his Escalade into a fire hydrant and a tree on a neighbor’s property around 2:25 am three days later.

This is not the first time Uchitel has been mentioned in celebrity and pro athlete circles. One report on People.com links her to New York Yankees Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez, and ‘Bones’ star David Boreanaz.
“She is a fun party girl; she was definitely into celebrities,” a source tells the website. “She’s into being around famous people. Her job was to rack up VIP clientele. She is a flirtatious girl.”
