Fewer police officers and firefighters will be laid off under Cincinnati’s official budget plan.
City manager Milton Dohoney’s spending plan cuts the public safety layoffs in half, and finds other ways to cover a $35 million dollar shortfall.
Those include using casino funds, and the closure of five swimming pools.
