County and City Police Merger Talks In Jeopardy

It looks like any chance of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department taking over the Cincinnati Police Department’s patrols is in jeopardy. The idea first came up last month when City Council was scrambling to balance the budget. They agreed to study the proposal, but during a meeting last week they hit another snag.
