Cincinnati’s Police Union wants city council to balance the budget without cutting officers.
The union’s president hammered council members during last night’s meeting, saying the plan to lay off nearly 150 officers will put the public’s safety at risk.
Alternatives to layoffs will be the topic of a meeting today.
