Mayor Mark Mallory is guaranteeing the layoffs of Cincinnati Police and Firefighters, if the city’s parking lease goes before voters.
Mallory says the money generated from the lease of meters and lots is needed to meet the budget in July.
Opponents of the plan must turn in petitions this week to get the issue on the November ballot.
