Woman Shot and Killed By Police : Cincinnati Mayor and Police Chief Respond

A Mt. Airy woman, Erica Collins,  was shot and killed by Cincinnati Police Officer, Matthew Latsy,  after she allegedly advanced toward the officer holding a knife.

The officer was called to Ms. Collins residence in response to a domestic dispute.

Both Mayor Mark Mallory and Chief James Craig held a news conference and defended the officer’s actions.
