Are they rumors and faulty headlines or has BP really found the answer to ending the disastrous oil spill occurring in the Gulf Coast region?
Could be a mixture of both, but the majority of reports are detailing BP’s plan to actually redeem itself for endless damages in the region.
Representatives from the U.S. Interior Department said today’s issuing of a new moratorium order is their official second effort to block deepwater oil and natural gas projects.
The new moratorium is geared for protecting communities, coasts, and wildlife from within the region.
Other oil and gas companies will continue to implement safety measures to reduce the risks of blowouts and oil spills associated with deepwater drilling according to the what the government has said as well.
