In separate incidents, a pair of Fox News contributors got suspensions after making negative remarks towards President Barack Obama. Stacey Dash and Lt. Col Ralph Peters took turns in slamming President Obama during live broadcasts on the network on Monday.

Earlier in the afternoon, Dash was featured on Fox News’ Outnumbered program where the panelists dished over President Obama’s Sunday night address regarding counter-terrorism measures and the recent shooting incident in San Bernardino, Calif. When Dash was given the floor to speak, she uttered some profanity that the censors caught but still made her point.

“I did not feel any better. I didn’t feel any passion from him,“ said Dash. “I felt like he could give a sh**– excuse me, like he could care less.”

Peters didn’t fare much better during his appearance on the Fox Business Network today.

Media Matters for America reports:

During a December 7 appearance on Fox Business, Fox News strategic analyst Ralph Peters said of President Obama after his Oval Office address last night: “I mean this guy is such a total pussy, it’s stunning.” Host Stuart Varney told Peters he can’t “use language like that on the program,” and Peters replied that he was sorry.

CNN’s Brian Stelter reported today that the two commentators “were suspended on Monday for using profanities while criticizing President Obama on Monday”:

CNN noted that “Media Matters, a liberal anti-Fox monitoring organization, almost immediately flagged the Peters profanity, which caused it to get widespread attention on the web on Monday.”

Fox News host Howard Kurtz, who hosts the weekend media analysis program MediaBuzz, criticized Peters and Dash for their “crude language on the air,” calling their conduct “embarrassing.” He tweeted prior to the news of the suspension:

Kurtz’s tweet was retweeted over two dozen times, a shocking revelation considering his connection to the speakers.

Dash and Peters haven’t addressed their suspensions via their social media networks, but their remarks were met with both criticism and support.
