The number of murders in Cincinnati are down from last year, amid a sharp increase in gun violence.
Police chief Jeffrey Blackwell told a city council committee, Monday, that shootings are up 32% from this time last year. The chief says he’ll make curbing gun violence his top priority, with a focus on youth anti-violence programs.
Chief Blackwell was frustrated from the I-75 south shooting that left three injured. Check out the video to hear his comments.
