Cincinnati Police describe the man, shot and killed by officers during a traffic stop early Tuesday, as notorious for his disrespect toward authority.
Chief Jeffrey Blackwell says 37 year-old Daniel Royal had been arrested three times, previously, by attacking officers.
Royal was killed when he allegedly pointed a gun at two officers near the corners of Gilbert and Dixmont Avenues.
