A gay Cincinnati couple is the first in Ohio to be recognized as legally married.
A federal judge granted Jim Obergefell and John Arthur an injunction, Monday, ordering the state to recognize their marriage on a death certificate.
The men were married last week in Maryland, where gay marriage is legal. They chose to do this because Arthur is dying of Lou Gherig’s disease.
