A Cincinnati employee of the IRS told the U.S. house oversight committee, Thursday, that political officials in Washington are unfairly throwing her under the bus.
She testified about increased scrutiny of political groups, seeking non-profit status.
Liz Hofacre was in charge of reviewing applications from Tea Party groups, and said her work was slowed down by higher-ups in Washington.
