Hamilton County commissioners have hired a outside counsel, to prevent the juvenile court judge from hiring a new court administrator.
Since the county prosecutor, Joe Deters, has a conflict of interest, the county hired the outside counsel to stop Judge Tracie Hunter from hiring a new court administrator.
Hunter says a second administrator is needed because she believes the current administrator is working only for the other juvenile judge, John Williams.
Commissioners are concerned over this new hiring, because an additional court administrator would cost up to $107,000 a year. The county is struggling to reduce a $17 million deficit for their 2013 budget.
