The family of a teenager killed last year, by the Cincinnati Police, is taking the department to court.
Davon Mullens‘s family has filed a lawsuit in Hamilton County Court. The lawsuit claims the officer disarmed the 16 year-old, at Fountain Square, then shot him several times in the chest and planted the gun next to the boy before calling backup.
The family’s attorney believes Cincinnati Police are hiding something, but police maintain the officer had no choice but to shoot Mullens when he would not drop his weapon.
