Now before you get too excited, Richard Land, Southern Baptist Convention leader didn’t actually apologize. Instead he offered up regrets for any hurt he may have caused as a result of his comments condemning President Barack Obama, The Rev. Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson over the Trayvon Martin tragedy.
He was also slammed for lifting comments from blogger Aaron Weaver and creating the impresssion the comments were his own.
