I’m not particularly fond of Texas Governor Rick Perry, so watching him squirm on stage during Wednesdays Republican debate was really fun to watch. Perry was trying to sound grandiose and “Texas-cool” while discussing his jobs plan and his flat tax plan when he said: “And I will tell you, it is three agencies of government when I get there that are gone. Commerce, Education, and the — what’s the third one there? Let’s see.”
Rick Perry was taken down by a forgotten third example-that made him look old, rehearsed and confused (Kinda like Ronald Reagan.) Political analysts are already comparing this debate debacle to similar embarrssing moments of Dan Quayle and James Stockdale. Can Rick Perry recover from this very public drawing a blank moment? If the phone rings in the White House at 3 am, during a crisis, will Rick Perry remember what to say? Check the video below and decide for yourself.
