The Hamilton County Board of Elections is taking steps to avoid the confusion some voters faced last year. When you go to the polls next Tuesday, you should see new voting signs that direct people to their precinct table.

The sign will read, “vote where you live so your vote counts” and specifically directs people to their precinct.

This past year, there have been court disputes in the election for Hamilton County Juvenile Judge. Candidate Tracie Hunter has taken her case to as high as the US Supreme Court, stating that voters were mislead, to the wrong precinct, when they casted their provisional ballots. To this day, there has not been a declared winner in this election.

To learn more about these new voting signs, check out the video below.

So what do you think? Do you think these signs will help prevent voter confusion? Will these signs stop voters from voting in the wrong precinct? Let us know your thoughts by posting your comments below.
