The White House reports President Barack Obama is okay after hackers take over the Twitter account of The Associated Press.

The hackers reported President Obama was injured in dual blasts at the White House using the @AP account. The tweet appeared around 12:07 p.m. CST:

Breaking: Two Explosions in the White House and Barack Obama is injured

— The Associated Press (@AP) April 23, 2013

The account was suspended moments later.

Politico reports White House press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday the tweet was “obviously false.”

The unconfirmed hacking of the AP’s Twitter account comes after CBS News’ Twitter account was hacked Saturday, according to Deadline Hollywood. Hackers tweeted the U.S. and Obama were “Shamelessly in Bed with Al-Qaeda” from the account of CBS News and their newsmagazine, 60 Minutes.
