Hamilton County Commissioners: Sales Tax Increase Off The Table

Hamilton County Commissioners say a sales tax increase will not be a part of their revenue boosting plans.

Department heads have been told to slash as much as 30% of their spending to close a $24 million shortfall. Increased fees, closing the courthouse one day a week, and job cuts are under consideration.
