One of the oldest and largest advocacy groups in the U.S. has weighed in on the contentious issue of same-sex marriage. The NAACP has passed a resolution endorsing gay marriage as a civil right. This comes, of course, almost two weeks after the President announced his support for same-sex marriage.
The 103-year-old organization’s board members passed the resolution with only two of 64 members voting against.
