The debt ceiling negotiations have been going on for a while, as Republicans and Democrats are trying to make compromises on how to reduce it. One of the congressmen, who has a comprehensive debt reduction plan, is Chaka Fattah from Pennsylvannia. Known as the Debt-Free America Act, or H.R. 1125, this bill would eliminate the income tax, and replace it with a fee with every business transaction you make. Congressman Fattah came on the TJMS this morning to talk about it with April Ryan, who was sitting in for Roland Martin.
