Hey Cincinnati! I know you’ve been waiting for me to share all of the juicy details and highlights from my week on this year’s One Love Cruise. Well, now that I’m back home from the fabulous Radio One experience, I think it’s about time I give you the scoop on what went down as we sailed together as one to the Grand Cayman Islands and Ochos Rios this year.

First let me tell you, the ship was rockin’ the entire cruise. Radio One’s team of top gospel artists and radio personalities and I all had the entire ship to ourselves. Can you believe it? A real “boatload” of folks who just love gospel music and love to praise the Lord – what an incredible journey. With live concerts, conferences, praise parties and some good ol’ Radio One family fun, there was something exciting happening all day everyday.

I had the wonderful opportunity to host a special up close and personal listening party for the one and only Karen Clark Sheard. Speaking of KCS, we all know her new CD “All in One” is officially in stores this month. In fact, if you haven’t purchased your copy yet, you must go pick one up for your car, for your office, for your home and even one for a friend. If you want to hear more of the lead single “Prayed Up” or any other great gospel songs, you can also let me know by visiting 1230AM WDBZ online at TheBuzzCincy.com. Don’t forget to invite your friends on Facebook, Myspace, Twitter and BlackPlanet to visit the site too for everything they’ll ever need in local and national gospel music, news and events.

Okay, okay, so back to the cruise and the listening party.

We had a fabulous time together listening to the brand new music and sharing some intimate moments with Karen Clark Sheard, guests and the Radio One family. Even her sisters Dorinda and Jacky (of the legendary gospel group The Clark Sisters) were in attendance. Fellow Detroit native and gospel diva Vickie Winans and the “First Lady of Gospel” Pastor Shirley Caesar were there, too. The inimitable Lucinda Moore also joined in and revealed some personal tidbits that made the occasion really special for all of us.

As anticipated, the Radio One staff kept everyone aboard the One Love Cruise busy with more than enough activities, exclusive listening parties, inspiring messages and so much more. My head is still spinning from everything I was able to witness and be a part of this year.

I even had the pleasure of hosting the special “Ladies’ Chat: Kitchen Table Conversations,” a unique experience for women only where we got a chance to keep it 100 percent real with one another regarding our health, our relationships, our faith and even our families. Now, I won’t tell you what all we discussed, but trust me when I say the “Ladies’ Chat” left the ladies hungry for more! I think we will have to do that one again!

Overall, this year’s cruise was beyond a success. It was awesome and that’s why you must join us next year. Until then, check out all the snapshots I have for you below and feel free to comment on them as well. I’d love to talk more about what you missed and what you must experience with us as we set sail next year.

There’s certainly nothing like good friends and great music. I experienced a whole lot of love and a little bit more of Jesus! Just what I needed, but of course, it’s good to be home and back to business.

Nonetheless, here’s your opportunity to check out the goodies I brought back with me. Don’t forget to check us out online at TheBuzzCincy.com and tell your friends, too.

Here’s another look at some of the events and special moments from the Radio One – One Love Cruise 2010. Enjoy!
