For the last two days we’ve been keeping a close eye on former child television star Gary Coleman’s health issues, but unfortunately we are sad to say that he has indeed passed away as of 2:52PM EST this afternoon. Read the final updates via USAToday.com.

A recent fall and brain hemorrhage had kept the actor in very critical condition this week after he was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday. Coleman was apparently sent to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where a spokeswoman there said Coleman was admitted to the Provo facility on Wednesday, but also stated she couldn’t release any other details. Today more and more details are flooding through our emails as additional commentary on his condition became available via BlackAmericaWeb.com and other sites.

The 42-year-old actor, best known for his stint on TV’s “Diff’rent Strokes,” which aired from 1978 to 1986, has survived plenty and his trips to the hospital have been a bit more frequent since the beginning of year. If you recall back in February, Coleman suffered a seizure on the set of “The Insider” and made headlines with the startling reports coming in while he was on the job.

Our prayers are with his family. For more on the story, click here.
