If you’re anything like the rest of us who follow the hit NBC series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” it’ll be hard to see the show having a future without any of it’s familiar faces in the show’s leading roles.
That’s part of the reason why we are among those shocked to find out today that after 12 seasons on the famed series, actor Christopher Meloni has decided to leave the show. Meloni was reportedly offered a chance to stay with much greater pay, but like many others on our favorite television shows these days, he’s make the choice to move in a different direction.
NBC announced that the show will return to the air this fall, but it has also yanked it’s sister show “Law & Order: Los Angeles” in the recent reports on the show’s future.
