Cincinnati’s city-wide curfew for minors went into effect this past weekend.

Following the recent deaths amongst minors that involve gun violence, the police department has decided to put a curfew on the city for anyone under 18.

Teens who are under the age of 16 will not be able to be in a public area passed 10 p.m.

Teens who are 16 or 17 will not be able to be in a public area passed 12 a.m. without a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians can be cited if their child is within violation of the curfew.

Cincinnati Police Chief, Chief Eliot Isaac stopped by the studio to discuss the cities new curfew after the community has voiced many concerns.
