While the GAG has always presented an annual members only (“In House”) awards program,“The Crystal Mic Media Awards” will reach beyond GAG members only to salute national media for their contributions to Gospel music.

P. Ann is celebrating over 25 years in broadcasting and can be heard on the air waves  Monday through Friday, 3-7:00 p.m. on 1230 AM WDBZ, (www.thebuzzcincy.com) and on Sundays, from 8 a.m.–12 noon, where  the Praise Party is in “full effect” on 100.3 FM, WMOJ (www.mojocincy.com) as she presents some of the top artists in the gospel industry while serving up a big warm cup of inspiration.

Rev. P. Ann Everson-Price has shown that one should never give up on their dreams and aspirations of going higher and achieving bigger and better things.

Three times she has, taken a  leave from a successful radio career, to pursue theatrical roles off-Broadway, with Mega- producer Donald Lawrence and national tours, co starring with Peabo Bryson and Ann Nesby of Sounds of Blackness. She has even toured and lived in Japan.

P. Ann is a producer, business owner and serves as a consultant for: DeSaints Entertainment, producing Christian events and PAnnentertainment; producing Corporate and other Stellar events. Her 8 piece show band is featured at top supper clubs, country clubs, corporate events, fund raisers, black-tie events and outdoor festivals in the region.

P. Ann is an Ordained Minister and gives back to the Community by serving on the ministerial staff of the House Of Joy Christian Ministries.

P. Ann is the host and founder of Ladies Chat: Kitchen Table Series,(Sessions are held locally and on the Radio-One Love Cruise)  where women come together to live, laugh and learn about this thing called “Womanhood”. Topics include: Learning How to Love Yourself, Dating, Starting Over: after divorce or other bad decisions, How to be a good wife, How to bring balance into your life, etc.

For over 10 years, on Tuesday evenings, she has served as mentor to over 70 voices (ages 5-25) as the Director of the Cincinnati Super Choir.   This group has worked with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and The Cincinnati Ballet. They have performed at annual, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. celebrations around the city. They were extremely  blessed to sing before President elect, Barack Obama, twice, in 2008.

On Mondays, she provides personal vocal coaching to adults and children.  Some of her students have successfully auditioned for The Lion King, Annie and The Showtime At The Apollo, American Idol,  also locally for School for Creative and Performing Arts.

P. Ann is a part of the Artist On Tour Program. She takes history and  music to thousands of students in schools throughout Ohio, Kentucky  and Indiana as part of her “Jazz to Motown” musical presentation.

She has received numerous honors; Proclamations, Keys to the City and other awards for her musical contributions and work in the community and the City of Cincinnati.. Including: reci-pient of Applause! Magazine’s 1999 Imagemaker Award for Entertainment and  recipient of the  2000 & 2003 Cammy Award for Vocalist of the Year.  She was also recognized by Cincinnati’s YMCA as a 2007 Black Achiever.

P. Ann is wife: to Eddie S. Price, Jr.,  Mother to 3 grown children , “Nanna” to 8 beautiful grands, and 1 Great-grand baby.

With gratefulness, we are pleased to announce that joining us in the presentation of this gala honors event is the Word Network who will tape the Crystal Mics and present the show in a 90 minute format, several times prior to the end of 2010.

“The Crystal Mic Media Awards” will be presented at the 40th Anniversary Luncheon of the Gospel Announcer’s Guild, July 27, 2010 in The Fabulous, Hall of Mirrors of the downtown Cincinnati Hilton Hotel.
