In the aftermath of the death of the late Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry, additional reports and research this week indicate brain damage at the time of his death.

Multiple hits to the head – possibly from his high impact career in football – have revealed the athlete’s condition as a form of degenerative brain damage called chronic traumatic encephalopathy.

Just last December, Chris Henry died after reportedly “falling out or jumping out” of the back of a pickup truck just moments after a confrontation with his fiancee.

This new research doesn’t give way however to complete details on whether or not the discovery means anything in the investigation of Henry’s death.

Check out the additional details of the research and how the information impacts other athletes by visiting WCPO.com today.

How do you all feel Cincinnati? Do you think something else is brewing just beneath the surface or do you believe the research is totally unrelated to the investigation of Henry’s untimely death?
