BET’s founder and philanthropist Robert L. Johnson has announced plans to rebuild the future for Haiti with the onsite of a project for their factories which will build construction materials for natural disaster prevention and usage in the area.

Two new factories will be developed for the purpose of building earthquake resistant panels as well as additional panels that will last during hurricane seasons to come. The panels will be used for housing development projects in the nation’s capital and the city of Cap-Haitien.
