I’m always curious why people issue apologies after they’ve made inappropriate comments or have been caught in uncompromising positions. You didn’t know it was wrong before you said it or did it?
In the case of Gen. Stanley McChrystal vs. President Obama, McChystal reportedly criticized our commander in chief about his decision last year to send more troops to Afghanistan. Well, he didn’t actually criticize the president but the “period” during which President Obama had to make the decision.
This morning, Gen. Stanley McChystal faces President Obama over insubordination and McChrstyal is expected to resign.
