New York — Many of his friends and family say that DJ Megatron was on his way to super-stardom before he was gunned down on a Staten Island street this weekend.

The 32-year-old, born Corey McGriff, was shot in the torso when a man reportedly approached him a block away from his Staten Island home.
There have been no leads as to who may have killed McGriff.
