It’s almost time for this year’s I Hear Music in the Air Conference weekend to kick off. If you’re just as excited as we are then you’re trying to get your hands on all the gospel goodies to come. We recently heard from gospel music’s own Marvin Sapp as he prepares to make is way from Grand Rapids, Michigan to celebrate the goodness of Jesus right here in Cincinnati. Just in case you didn’t know, Marvin Sapp will be with us on Saturday, May 29th beginning at 5:00PM as we experience “An Evening with Marvin Sapp,” a live concert experience to be filmed for The Word Network.
Held at the Aronoff Center for the Arts’ Procter & Gamble Hall, the evening will feature additional special guests including gospel music’s “Prince of Praise” Byron Cage, both of Cincinnati’s own Darwin Hobbs and Pastor Rodney Posey, vocalist Kathy Taylor and Christopher, a contemporary gospel trio from Dayton, OH. For ticket details, visit IHearMusicintheAir.com.
The 1230AM WDBZ team captured the entire interview with Marvin Sapp, a founding member of the 90s gospel ensemble Commissioned. So don’t forget to listen and tell us what you thought of the conversation. Are you planning to attend the concert, too?
