Reporters are detailing a recent undercover sting involving the arrest of arrests of 20 men caught and attempting to solicit sex from who they believed was a prostitute on Thursday night in Over-the-Rhine. With OTR already making alarming headlines in the news for this week’s fire that destroyed multiple businesses and buildings in the heart of the city near the 1400 block of Vine Street, what else could be going wrong in the neighborhood.
We’ve heard that police were instead using a decoy prostitute who was an undercover officer arresting would-be “Johns” who are reportedly from various surrounding cities like Indianapolis and parts of Northern Kentucky. Most of them, however are from right here in Cincinnati. A great deal of the arrests were made on McMicken Street and Henry Street. The men were said to be offering anywhere between $10 and $40 for certain sexual services.
