The spring has yet again brought with it April 15, better known as Tax Filing Day. For those of you who’ve waited until the very last minute to file your taxes, it will all soon be over (well, at least until next year). Across the nation, people are rushing to get things in line in order to meet today’s filing deadline.
At the same time, community members are gathering across the city in peaceful protests to draw attention to their call for lower taxes and less government at all levels. Channel 9 has a few updates on tea party protests happening around the city.
