If you are late on your tax payments to the city of Cincinnati, your going to get a second chance to make good. On Monday, councilmembers Charlie Winburn and Roxanne Qualls announced a new tax amnesty program that offers people and companies, who haven’t paid earnings taxes the chance to do so.
Winburn and Qualls hope the Second Chance amnesty program will rake in $1.8 million dollars to help the 2011 city budget. According to city officials, there are $16 million dollars, including interest and penalties, in late tax payments.
Charlie Winburn came on the Lincoln Ware show yesterday to discuss the details of the program. In case you missed the interview, we have the audio available for you to listen.
