THE BUZZ IS CELEBRATING JANUARY AS NATIONAL MENTORING MONTH
Everyone needs someone to look up to. This week, this month and this year, your friends from 1230AM WDBZ The Buzz Cincinnati’s news talk station encourage you to make the time and the commitment to becoming a mentor for someone in your community. Whether it’s your neighbors’ children or someone following your footsteps along the same career path, you can be the one to guide them and be a positive influence in their life.
Together this week as we reach the final leg of month, we are highlighting mentorship opportunities across the city and how you can get involved. The only way to keep up with mentoring projects is to get out there and make yourself available.
THIS WEEK’S ON-AIR GUESTS INCLUDE:
Tamiko Ware
Ohio State University graduate honored this week as one of the city’s Top Mentors for her tireless work with the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative.
Jennifer Pugh
Regional mentoring director for the YMCA discusses her experience and dedication to mentoring.
Clarence Taylor
Mentor currently serving in our local community to help enhance the minds, talents and gifts of our young people.
Simone Bess
Vice President of Mentoring for the Cincinnati Youth Collaborative recently honored with the “Sister of Excellence Award” for her exceptional servitude and spirit of excellence in the community.
Listen live daily to The Lincoln Ware Show this week for your chance to learn about what mentorship opportunities are available to you and for you.
