Huge billboards popping up around Atlanta in recent days are taking aim at President Barack Obama.

The billboards, arranged through a Web site called BillboardsAgainstObama.com, carry a variety of three messages.

One reads “Stop Obama’s Socialism.” Another sign reads “If you are not outraged, you are not paying attention.” And a third sign reads “Stop the Lies.”

At least nine billboards have been mentioned in Atlanta-area media.

In an interview with Neil Cavuto on Fox News, group spokesman Tommy Newberry said they are trying to raise enough money to take the billboards nationwide.

Attempts by BlackAmericaweb.com to reach Newberry were unsuccessful.

In an article published by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Newberry said the billboards are “a great way to use the free market to stop socialism.” Donors already have contributed from $1 to $3,200.

By the middle of this week, some of the billboards should start appearing in California, Newberry told the newspaper.
