Can you imagine packing a lunch and a condom for your little
boy to head off to school? Why would an adolescent boy need
a condom?
The answer should be, “He doesn’t!” But that’s not what a
leading condom manufacturer in Switzerland thinks. In fact,
according to the UK Telegraph, the company has already
created extra-small condoms for boys as young as 12 years
old at the urging of some organizational leaders.
The condom, called the Hotshot, was produced after family
planning groups and the Swiss AIDS Federation campaigned
to have the condoms made following several studies that
showed adolescent boys were not using proper protection
when engaging in intercourse.
Mothers, we have to protect our sons… but NOT with condoms. Teaching, supervising, structuring, and praying
for them is the key. Clearly, there is a problem and some 12 year old boys are indeed having sex. But someone has
to stand up and say not my son… not my daughter.
