CINCINNATI — The latest phase of the Banks Project gets underway Friday.
Construction crews are pouring concrete at the Riverfront site until 11 p.m.
They are pouring the concrete on Main Street between Second Street and Mehring Way.
The concrete will be the platform on which the retail, entertainment and housing venues will be built.
Drivers should expect road closures and delays in the area as a result.
Once the entire Banks Project is complete, it will be Cincinnati’s largest single, mixed-use development composed of residential, office, hotel and retail components.
It will house 3,000 residents, while bringing in $600 million to the riverfront.
