Cincinnati police are investigating after a man was found dead in a dumpster behind a Wendy’s in Camp Washington early Wednesday morning.

Authorities responded to the fast-food restaurant on Hopple Street around 2:20AM after receiving a report of a body inside the dumpster. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the man was deceased.

While the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, police say the death appears to be accidental, with no signs of foul play. The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the official cause of death.

Officers remained on the scene for several hours as the investigation unfolded. No further details about the victim have been released at this time.
