Pastor Donnie McClurkin has decided to donate all funds from his 50th Jubilee Gala Celebration to the Haitian earthquake relief efforts of Feed The Children, WorldVision and Operation Compassion.

In the aftermath of the recent devastating earthquake in Haiti, Pastor McClurkin will donate funds specifically toward the organization’s international work in Haiti.

The exclusive black-tie dinner will take place Monday, January 25th 2010 at the historic Oheka Castle in Huntington, Long Island NY and will recognize the ministry and musical achievements of Donnie McClurkin in the world of gospel music.  The event will be hosted by Sherri Shepherd and gospel music’s Bebe Winans. Gospel song performances will by contributed by Bebe & Cece Winans, Anthony Evans, Karen Clark Sheard and Walter Hawkins.

Pastor McClurkin will auction off one-of-a-kind celebrity-designed autographed plates. Representing a meal for a hungry child, these special plates have been donated by Oprah Winfrey, Steve Harvey, Patti LaBelle, Dwyane Wade, Chaka Khan, Maya Angelou and Sherri Shepherd.

Recognizing the severity of the catastrophic effects of last week’s earthquake, McClurkin was resolved to change the focus of his fundraiser celebration. “I am totally overwhelmed by the devastation that has taken place in Haiti. It’s unfathomable to see such suffering and while I know our efforts today, are a mere drop in the bucket, I hope we can do our part in assisting these important organizations provide food, supplies and manpower,” said Pastor McClurkin.

Good look for Donnie McClurkin to donate all funds to Haiti. It’s great to see everyone helping.
