The big year for The Buzz Cincy’s Lincoln Ware continues. After celebrating 50 years of service in Radio, Ware has been named a finalist for the NAB Marconi Radio Award for Large Market Personality of the Year. The winners will be announced on October 25 at the Marconi Radio Awards Dinner, presented by Xperi, during NAB Show New York.
Ware got his start in radio after being discharged from the Marines in 1973. Five decades later, Ware is still busy informing and entertaining the Cincinnati area.
Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
