Unsettling news this morning describes the recent update we were not excited about hearing this week. Sadly, the bodies of two missing Ohio women and 10-year-old boy have been found just one week after they first disappeared.

According to the reports on CNN.com, the remains of Tina Herrmann, 32, her 10-year-old son Kody Maynard, and her 41-year-old family friend Stephanie Sprang were found inside trash bags which were apparently placed inside the hollow of a tree.

A kidnapping suspect who lives in the home where Herrmann’s daughter was found alive was the one who actually helped the local authorities discover the three bodies. Seems like there could be more to this story as the investigation continues. In the meantime, check out the video package below for more updates from Mount Vernon, Ohio and the current details on the case.
